︎ How can data be synthesized and visualized into a digestible compendium?

Inspired by tissue and cell photography, The Cancer Atlas illustrates research findings on risk, burden, and prevention for countries to asses in reducing their cancer burdens. Designed to serve as a portable resource for policy makers and health organizations, a visual system and underlying grid provide structure to allow for translation into six languages and graphic insets to be extracted for sharing. The 136-page book is comprised of 44 chroropleth-coded maps and nearly 100 insets.
